Cantos was Awesome

What an incredible show we had at Cantos show this past Thursday, November 3, 2011.   It was like a short history of music:  ukelele blues with lyrics about the locals, the beautiful folk tales of Ruth Purves Smith, the original BluesRockJazzy music that we create, finishing with the premiere performance of the Guitarsplat Noise Tower, with grand piano.  It was definitely a memorable evening!

We were glad to be part of Calgary's 1st Thursday celebrations, and thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy our performance.

Live Shows - October/November 2011

MJDiva & Rodney Guitarsplat are gearing up for their upcoming shows in October and November, starting with Community Natural Foods - Restaurant Grand Re-Opening on October 19 at 5:30 pm at Community Foods 1304 - 10th Avenue SW.  Come on down for some healthy dinner and the eclectic sounds of MJDiva & Rodney Guitarsplat.

October 31 we're playing a Halloween show at Vern's Tavern. 622 - 8th Avenue, Calgary, AB.  The fun starts at 9, so dress up and come on down to Vern's for some Ghoulish Good Times with MJDiva & Rodney Guitarsplat, and a host of other energetic and loud musicians!

November 3 is our 1st Thursday Cantos Gig at Cantos Music Foundation, with guest Ruth Purves Smith.  This evening of Art and Music starts at 7:30 and begins with a show of Rodney Guitarsplat's work, with music starting at 8pm.  Tickets are 10.00 for adults and 5.00 for 0 - 14.
